- The Magnus Hammer is a weapon in the Transformers Animated continuity family.

The Magnus Hammer is an object passed down by the leader of the Autobots. It currently belongs to Ultra Magnus and will one day belong to Sentinel "Magnus". (Creepy) It would be better Optimus Magnus than Sentinel Magnus.

The Magnus Hammer is sent down from each Magnus and is currently Ultra Magnus's.
After Ultra Magnus was assaulted by Shockwave and put on Spark support, it was taken away. Where Is Thy Sting?
Shockwave almost finished the job with the hammer but it was retrieved by Ratchet who saved Magnus. He later took it to Earth when he refused to give what belonged to Ultra Magnus to Sentinel. Jazz was sent to retrieve it and bring it back to Cybertron but decided to just hang out on Earth with Prime's crew. This Is Why I Hate Machines
When Optimus Prime was given a Jet pack to fly and defeat the Lugnut Supremes he was given the hammer to help but it didn't help much. He was also mistaken for Ultra Magnus by Megatron. Endgame, Part I Endgame, Part II
Powers[]
Magnus hammer is a very powerful weapon and its a symbol of leadership on Cybertron in Transformers Animated series. This weapon was created with advanced weather controlling technology.
- Atmokinesis: Magnus Hammer has the ability to manipulate and create weather. It can create powerful lightning bolts, tornadoes manipulate thunder and clouds.
- Electrokinesis: It can summon and create lightning. The Hammer can charge it self with Lightning and then unleash it or in order to strengthen its attack. Ultra Magnus used this ability to scare off Dinobots when Sentinel foolishly attacked them and they attacked him, Optimus and Ultra Magnus back and to destroy police robots when they were out of control because of the AllSpark fragment he destroyedthem all at once. Then Optimus used this power to battle three Lugnut Supremes at first it wasn't a much of succeess because both like Optimus and the hammer where resisted one another because Optimus thought he was unworthy and hammer sensed it but later Optimus convinced the hammer to work with him, later in battle Optimus created a huge tornado and caught all three Lugnut Supremes in it an strikes them with powerful lightning bolts to damaged them and even destroyed one of them. Then Optimus used lightning against Megatron in their last confrontation. After Optimus defeated Megatron when he attacked him after he and the others Autobots learned about Prowl's death Optimus charged Magnus Hammer with lightning and destroyed Megatron's Canon.
- Brontokinesis: Thanks to its Lightning powers the hammer also manipulate Thunder. Ultra Magnus used this ability to calm down the other Autobots when Bulkhead was trying to punch Sentinel Prime and others was trying to seperating them, he hit the ground with the hammer's handle and then there was the sound of thunder.
- Aerokinesis: Hammer is capable to manipulate air currents, as well storm clouds and tornadoes. When Optimus spun around quickly he created a powerful tornado that was able to blow away the three Lugnut Supremes.

- Durability: The hammer is extremely durable. Optimus used it to deflect blast shots from Megatron's blaster in their last fight.
