Jupiter is the 5th and largest planet in Earth's solar system. A gas giant, it is surrounded by a faint planetary ring system and a powerful magnetosphere. There are over sixty known moons in Jupiter-orbit, including Io, which is home to a species of very unfriendly inhabitants.
