The name or term Jolt refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Jolt (disambiguation).

Jolt is a Autobot from the live-action movie continuity family.

Jolt is an Autobot who turns into a Chevrolet Volt. He is described as a troublemaker and a bit of a snob but loves to battle Decepticons. He seems to have fondness of Earth's nature and a habit of saving energy explaining why he chose an eco-friendly car as a disguise. He is armed with two electro-whips.

Hungarian name: Sokk (Shock)

Fiction

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

The only thing Jolt does or is even seen doing is connecting his electro-whips to Optimus Prime, creating an electromagnetic field that will help combine Jetfire's parts onto Optimus's body, giving Optimus the power he needs to defeat The Fallen.

He is also seen charging his electro-whips menacingly when the Autobots were confronted by Galloway and some soldiers after returning with Optimus' corpse.

Trivia

Well, at least I'm not Wheelie.

  • He doesn't say anything during the film. Anything. This is most likely because he was a last-minute addition to the film.
  • He was supposed to be voiced by Anthony Anderson, but since he doesn't say anything, it must have been a pretty easy job. Maybe he grunts and we don't notice because most of the movie sounds like an epileptic hardware store.
  • You do not see Jolt fight. You only see him when Galloway attempts to end NEST, when some of the Autobots are driving you see him once then can't be seen again in the scene, and when he uses his whips to combine Jetfire's parts to Optimus.
