Jolt a.k.a the Silent Shocker.

Jolt is a young Autobot described as a troublemaker and a bit of a snob but loves to battle Decepticons. He seems to have fondness of Earth's nature and a habit of saving energy explaining why he chose an eco-friendly car as a disguise. He is armed with two electro-whips. Jolt lures his enemies in close to deliver a crippling blow with his electro-whips.

Hungarian name: Sokk ("Shock")

Fiction

Revenge of the Fallen film

He is charging his electro-whips menacingly when the Autobots were confronted by Galloway and some soldiers after returning with Optimus Prime's corpse. When The Fallen forces the humans to find Sam Witwicky and turn against the autobots,Jolt was seen captured in a net by the human cops with Ironhide , Ratchet .

Jolt later travels to Egypt with the other Autobots when they were deported by the U.S. Government. He is seen shooting Decepticons behind Sideswipe.

Later, he connects his crackling electro-whips to Optimus Prime with Jetfire's corpse, creating an electromagnetic field that transfers Jetfire's parts onto Optimus's body, transforming Optimus into Jetpower Optimus Prime so he can defeat The Fallen.

Culture Shock comic

Jolt also appears in a transformers comic called 'Culture Shock'. The comic begins with Jolt (in his car mode) smashing through a window in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Ironhide is calling him "JOLT--no! NOT YET!" as Jolt races after the motorbike decepticon, Jolt does not lisson to Ironhide. Then, Jolt tries to electrify the decepticon, but his whip misses and electrifys all the buildings and cars in his area. Luckily Bumblebee comes in smashing the decepticon to the ground killing it. Director Galloway wasn't pleased that Los Angeles had handed him one million six hundred and ninety thousand dollars. Optimus Prime was also not impressed with Jolt. Two days later, Jolt faced another decepticon in Las Vegas, Bludgeon (Movie). Bludgeon was beating Jolt very easily until Jolt used up all the power of the city to electrify Bludgeon. Finally, Bludgeon was killed, but Optimus Prime confined Jolt to base.

Trivia

Well, at least I'm not Wheelie.

  • He doesn't have any lines in the film. This is most likely because he was a last-minute addition to the film.[October, 2009]
  • His [[Jolt Armada|namesake]] wasn't much of a talker himself to begin with either.
  • Considering how he followed Ratchet's instructions for how to use his electro whips to combine Jetfire's parts with Optimus's body, he is considered Ratchet's apprentice.
