Hot Rod is a daring Autobot hero. He's always willing to take on the most dangerous missions, charging into battle without a second thought. To some of the older bots, Hot Rod is regarded as a showoff. He is good friends with Bumblebee, and the two often race to prove who is the best. Hot Rod is a bit of a bad loser, though, and demands rematches until he finally wins.[1]
