The Griffith Observatory is a big and fancy-looking, well, observatory (who'd have guessed?) presumably located in Los Angeles, California, in the United States of America (see trivia). Occasionally, it serves as a place for well-intentioned alien robots to regroup and plan their next moves.
Fiction
Transformers (2007) movie
Bumblebee drove Sam Witwicky and Mikaela Banes to the site of this closed observatory to watch the arrival of the Autobot protoforms. After Bumblebee and his human friends were captured by Sector Seven, the remaining Autobots regrouped at the observatory to discuss their next move. Transformers (2007)
