Just a big Galoob

Galoob was an American toy company that is now a subsidiary of Hasbro. Galoob is most famous for Micro Machines, a toyline that Hasbro repeatedly tried to create competition for within the Transformers franchise, first by introducing Micromasters in 1988, then with the short-lived Microverse in 1997. Hasbro bought Galoob in 1998, at which time it was the third-largest toy company in the United States.

Hasbro's Titanium Series toyline is produced under Galoob's Micro Machines brand.

When Hasbro's Transformers line debuted in 1984, Galoob was selling Sweet Secrets, a line of animals, girls with combable hair, and playsets that were all disguised as jewelry, makeup and other fashion accessories. Now, Play Along sells Sweet Secrets, who are just dolls that hide in make up. What a waste.
