A recurring element of bios is a character's function, typically an encapsulation of the character's purpose on their respective teams.
Most franchises from Generation One onwards have included a "function" listing at the top of character bios. Armada was the first to not include it as part of the character's description.
Typical functions include:
- Demolitions
- Architects
- Scientists
- Warriors/Soldiers/Fighters
- Communications Officers
- Scouts
