Micronus Prime is the first Mini-con and one of the Thirteen. By coming in contact with the other members of the Thirteen he could enhance their skills and powers. Notably, he assisted Solus Prime in the creation of many of the Thirteen's artifacts.
History[]
Micronus Prime was among the Thirteen created by Primus to battle and defeat Unicron and seeing the activation of the Well of Allsparks. Following the War of the Primes, he chose to join with the AllSpark.
Transformers: Robots in Disguise[]
Season 1[]
Micronus served as a mentor in training Optimus Prime in the Realm of the Primes to better prepare Optimus for a "coming storm." To that end, Micronus tasked Optimus with reaching the top of a hill, a task complicated by a hostile robot with four Mini-Con minions attacking a group of virtual humans who, so far as Optimus was aware, were real. Micronus often antagonized Optimus during the training when Optimus asked for his assistance, but Micronus eventually reminded Optimus of his original task. This allowed Optimus to unlock one of the abilities of his new sword, the Prime Decepticon Hunter, which had been the purpose of the exercise the whole time. After impressing on his pupil that he would need to learn to deal with distractions during the coming conflict, he asked if Optimus was ready for his next lesson.
Unfortunately the time arrived before Optimus's training was complete, but Micronus regardless took him before the other Primes. When Optimus persuaded them, Micronus and the other Primes bestowed some of their power on him and sent him to Earth.
Season 2[]
Following the battle with Megatronus, Micronus appeared to Bumblebee's team on Earth, which his face only appeared on Grimlock's right side in his dino mode form. Micronus informed Optimus about end of the battle with Megatronus and takes back the power Optimus gained from the other Primes. Though this left Optimus in a weakened state, Micronus scanned Optimus and said he would recover before vanishing from Grimlock's side.
Personality[]
Micronus Prime is very secretive. He appears cold and arrogant, but proves able of compassion and courage as well as wisdom.
Appearance[]
Interestingly, Micronus takes the form of a small Cybertronian encased inside a seemingly Energon based force field. This field may only be employed during combat, as Micronus is seen without it during Optimus' training in Out of Focus and in Battlegrounds, Part 1. Micronus is colored light blue and white around his body.

- Transformers: The Covenant Primus reveals Mini-Con Prime's name is Micronus.
- Micronus Prime's ability to amplify other Cybertronian powers is a reference to Transformers: Armada, the first part of the Unicron Trilogy.
