While scouring the galaxy for recyclables, Assessor detected a large junk deposit turned out to be the fabled Planet of Junk. Extractor was initially disappointed that the legendary planet turned out to be nothing more than a giant landfill. Salvage landed the Reclamation on the planet's surface, where Extractor combined with his comrades into the Prime Processing Unit. Before they could begin converting the junk to energy, however, an army of Junkions commanded by Wreck-Gar erupted from the ground. In the brief skirmish that followed, Extractor escaped without any major damage, and helped Assessor carry Detonator back to the ship.
Back aboard the Reclamation, Extractor was repaired and, although horrified at the prospect of wasting three quarters of Junk's potential energy harvest, once more combined with his comrades into the Prime Processing Unit. But before they could begin processing Junk, a tractor beam dragged the Reclamation into the planet's surface, reducing the ship - and Extractor - to junk. Collect and Save
