This article is about the Unicron Trilogy Autobot. For the Animated Autobot, see Excellion (Animated).

Excellion is an Autobot from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Not Shot

A brooding loner, Excellion has won more respect from the Decepticons than he has the Autobots by successfully infiltrating their base completely unseen on more than one occasion. While the Autobots appreciate his efforts, it's his attitude that has estranged him from his peers. It is unknown if he like JaAm as much as Hot Shot.

(Note: It is unknown if Excellion is from Velocitron or Cybertron. He comes with a Velocitron Key and his packaging has the Speed Planet sign, but a great many Transformers in the Cybertron series have Keys and packaging not of their actual planet of origin. His lack of clear-plastic tires also seems to point to a non-Velocitron origin.)

  • Excellion (Deluxe class, 2006)
CybExcellion toy

Bizarro Hot Rod.

Excellion is a redeco of Cybertron Hot Shot, now cast in red and orange with translucent blue. He is an homage to Generation One Hot Rod based on a Japanese DVD-exclusive version of the toy, and uses the Japanese name for Cybertron Hot Shot with slight change in spelling from Exillion to Excellion.
His mold was also used to make Shattered Glass Goldbug.
  • Hot Shot (Legends of Cybertron, 2006)

He's both Hot Shot and not Hot Shot in one convenient package!

A redeco of Legends of Cybertron Hot Shot uses Excellion's approximate coloration and paint scheme; however, the toy is not actually labelled "Excellion", merely "Hot Shot". The reason for this is unclear.
This mold was later repainted into Classics Legends Bumblebee.

  • Excellion (Booster, 2006)

He will crush you with his mighty parasol missile.

Attacktix ID number:TF10
Special:Sacrifice - 14/26 (54%) success ratio
Point Cost:40
Base Speed:4
Attack Type:Shooter (Energy Blast)
Part of the first series of Transformers Attacktix Boosters, Excellion is a redeco of the Hot Shot piece (of course). His large missile makes him one of the more effective Transformers shooters. Excellion's Special Power Sacrifice lets you keep him in play by replacing one of your Trooper figures with him.
Excellion's large base and wide stance make him an excellent defensive figure. He's even harder to shoot down when his missile is in place. The figure has four points of articulation; head, shoulders and waist.

  • (multipack, 2007)
Excellion comes packaged with Cybertron Thundercracker.
