Earl Kress (August 22 1951-September 19 2011) is an American writer. In addition to Transformers, he also wrote episodes of Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain (both of which netted him a Daytime Emmy), Road Rovers, and Kim Possible. He was also one of the scriptwriters on The Fox and the Hound.
