The Dynasty of Primes is a group from the live-action film continuity family.

The Dynasty of Primes was the ruling class of the planet Cybertron eons ago. They were formed by the first thirteen seven Transformers and ruled Cybertron, protecting the All Spark until they were betrayed by one of their own.

• Seven Primes - Seven original founding members
  • Megatronus Prime/The Fallen - Former member; founder of the Decepticons
  • Prima - was the first to propose that the Sun Harvesters should not be used to destroy stars with planets that contained life.
• Sentinel Prime - mentioned in Sam's "mental meltdown" rant and the main villain of Dark of the Moon
• Optimus Prime - The last remaining Prime

Trivia

• Unlike other incarnations that depicted there was 13 Primes but instead in the Movieverse there was seven Primes

Notes

• The Seven Primes look similar to each other with the exception of Optimus Prime and Sentinel Prime
• Megatronus was not the only Prime to turn evil but Sentinel as well swayed to the dark side.
  • As stated by Jetfire they weren't capable of Transformation like the other Cybertronians who were born after them
