Richard "Dick" Gautier (October 30, 1931 - January 13, 2017) was an American actor, comedian, composer, singer, author and voice actor. On-screen, he appeared in numerous television shows, from Kolchak: The Night Stalker to Freddy's Nightmares. He may be best known as Hymie from the Get Smart TV series, however. Gautier also once filled in for Adam West as Batman in a 1972 PSA for the Federal Equal Pay Act.
Gautier performed several voice-over roles in animation, including Serpentor in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Spike in The Tom & Jerry Kids Show, The Red Guy's dad in Cow & Chicken and the Sogmaster from the Cap'n Crunch commercials.
That was awesome.
