The name or term Devastator refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Devastator (disambiguation).

Devastator is a Decepticon from the live-action movie continuity family.
Rotf-devastator-1

He doesn't have much of a brain as his head is basically an empty turbine.

Devastator is a giant gestalt Decepticon warrior formed by the Constructicons.

His components are:

Not Hun-Gurrr, we swear.

In the Egyptian desert, Devastator starts up his turbines and sucks up sand and Mudflap, who grips onto the edge of his mouth. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Toys

Wonder if there'll be a "combiner not munky" complaint.

  • Constructicon Devastator (Supreme, 2009)
Devastator's Supreme Toy is a Giftset that contains the six construction vehicles that make up his body. Unfortunately, the seperate parts only have a body part mode and vehicle mode, no robot mode due to how hard it would be to engineer it and still be Movie Accurate. If you want the Constructicons that have robot modes, you'll have to buy them seperately. Clever.

Merchandises

  • Devastator (Robot Heroes, 2009)

This version of Devastator is a bit bigger than typical Robot Heroes figure (standing 5 inches, including rised hand), but has the same articulation. Surprisingly, his left leg is coloured reddish-orange, just like Rampage from the movie, while Supreme (and Movie) Devastator's leg is yellow, just like Rampage's toy.

Trivia

  • The name 'Devastator' was mistakenly given to Brawl in the first movie. Michael Bay reported that he liked this name better, as it sounded more dangerous than Brawl. (Maybe he just likes names he can't pronounce.)
  • According to Empire Magazine, Demolishor does not form Devastator's torso. This may means that there are two Decepticons with Terex alt-mode, the second might be the Scavenger. If this is a true info or not, is yet to be seen.
