- Demolishor is a Decepticon from the live-action film continuity family.
Demolishor is a monstrous, gyroscopic unicycle of death. Demolishor's personality is described as thick-headed. He is cowardly when the Decepticons don't have a leader, because he is used to being ordered around by Megatron. Demolishor is also the guardian of a small Decepticon community.
Fiction
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
- Voice Actor: Calvin Wimmer (English)
When NEST and the Autobots come to Shanghai, and China are attempting to uncover a hidden Decepticon, they find Demolishor and Sideways. Demolishor transforms and swats at NEST helicopters as he begins to make himself mobile. He then proceeds onto a highway. Ironhide chases him, but has little success, so Optimus Prime is released into the fray. Demolishor destroys an overpass just as Optimus transforms and jumps off the bridge. Optimus manages to dive onto Demolishor, grabbing onto his face as he proceeds down the highway. Optimus shoots him repeatedly, forcing the Decepticon to fall over the edge of the highway and crash into the ground. As Optimus and Ironhide approach him, he declares that "The Fallen shall rise again", after which Prime shoots him one final time in the head.
Toys
- Demolishor (2009, Voyager)
Demolishors toy Transforms from a Terex Hydraulic Mining Excavator into an unique, gyroscopic robot mode with two vertically oriented wheels. The treads possess a slide joint that pops them into wheels and back. His MechAlive Gimmick is the silver pieces in his arms rotate when you move the elbow in robot mode or vehicle mode.
Trivia
- For a long time, Demolishor was thought to be a part of Devastator. However, this was recently proved incorrect: there are two Decepticons with Terex alt-mode, the second is Scavenger.
- He was the most prominently featured Transformer in all trailers, but received a pathetically short screentime of 4 minutes and was very quickly (and quite mercilessly) killed by Prime despite his initial enormous advantage... now he cries, Bonecrusher cries (even though he hates crying) and we fans cry.
- He's the second largest Transformer in the film, with Jetfire in third, and Devastator in first.
- His toy and concept art is red with white stripes, but in the movie he's white with red stripes.
- IDW comics depicts him as normal excavator, not the gigantic Terex. Thus, he and Scavenger are not looking similar.
