Claymore

Claymore is a Mini-Con from the video game version of the Unicron Trilogy.

Claymore is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons scattered across Earth. A member of the Blue Mini-Con Team, when Powerlinxed to a larger Transformer, Claymore launches proximity mines that are triggered by nearby opponents coming within range or shot at by the Autobot's weapons. Deploying enough mines will cause the oldest one to explode.

With a Stentorian voice and nigh-kamikaze personal battle tactics, Claymore is tiny ball of cacophonic violence. However, it's all in the service of greater Mini-Con independence - which he hopes will eventually entail his people being left alone by BOTH sides of the Autobot/Decepticon war.

Transformers Playstation 2 Game

Claymore's Mini-Con storage panel was discovered in a small alcove in the Amazon. Following the defeat of Megatron, he and the other Mini-Cons returned to Cybertron and helped form the Matrix Cannon, Nemesis Shield and Vanguard Booster, giving the Autobots the power needed to destroy Unicron.

Notes

• Claymore uses the same base model as Aftershock, Airburst, Slapshot and Watchdog.
