Cape Canaveral, Florida, U.S.A, is the hub of the American Space Program, and launch site of numerous American space missions, the most famous being the launch of the Saturn V, the launch body of the Apollo missions.

It also served as the base of the Space Shuttle Program.

In 1969, Apollo 11 was launched on a mission to locate the wreckage of a crashed alien ship. It carried Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins to the crash site on the Moon.

In 2011, The Autobots' transport ship, Xantium, under the protection of NEST, is located here. When the Autobots are exiled, they drive, along the famous road, leading to the launch pad.

They reluctantly take off in this ship, but before it could leave the Earth's atmosphere, it is destroyed by Starscream, supposedly killing the Autobots. Dark of the Moon
