The name or term Bonecrusher refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Bonecrusher (disambiguation).

Bonecrusher is a Decepticon from the Movie continuity family.

He was a sk8ter boi, she said see ya later boy.

Bonecrusher is a Transformer that can be described with one word: Hate. Bonecrusher hates this wiki. Bonecrusher hates the fact that his toy is so small. Bonecrusher even hates amusingly appropriate Avril Lavigne quotes. Basically Bonecrusher hates everything and everyone, particularly buses, and lives for the day when all of creation is crushed and destroyed beneath his feet. If anyone tries to befriend him (with the possible exception of folks from Force Protection, as noted below), he will have nothing to do with them. His overwhelming anger and hatred extends even to his fellow Decepticons, including Megatron himself. Only fear of Megatron keeps him on their side. Plus, he really hates the Autobots.

He transforms into a Buffalo mine clearing vehicle used by the military. It is made exclusively in South Carolina and the drivers routinely use it to drive to the local Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. He hates drivers, the mine clearing vehicle, the drive-thrus, and South Carolina. He loves tacos, however.

Bonecrusher hates being on fire, but normally, he loves to watch things burn.

Bonecrusher was aboard the crew of the Nemesis, led by Starscream, who were searching for Megatron, who was lost thousands of years ago, along with the AllSpark. He hated the Nemesis, but would hate trying to walk home more. He also hated the AllSpark, but Megatron wanted it, so he decided not to complain. Finally, he hated Starscream, but all the other Decepticons do as well, making it something he has in common with his fellow Decepticons. He hated that.

He's described as being a terrible shot, but he doesn't really mind, as he much prefers to kill with his bare hands.

(Note: Bonecrusher only appears in the Decepticon campaign of the game, and as a non-playable character t'boot.)

While hiding in a military base, Bonecrusher came under attack by the humans twice, and required assistance from Starscream to escape. He hates needing help from people, especially from people he hates.

Bonecrusher was hiding out in the motor pool of a military base when he received a communique from Starscream ordering the Decepticons to to mobilize and converge on the location of the All Spark. He rendezvoused with Barricade and Devastator, and the three Decepticons headed off together to intercept the Autobots and their human allies who had the All Spark in their possession.

Devastator wandered off somewhere, so Bonecrusher and Barricade continued their pursuit on the freeway. Barricade activated his sirens to clear the traffic and allow them more maneuvering room. Unsatisfied with Barricade's less conspicuous method, and since he hated rush-hour traffic, Bonecrusher used his mine-scoop to flip cars out of his way. (He kinda liked that. They say his energon pancakes were the best on cybertron)

Well, that's another thing that he hates.

After Barricade pulled over to the side of the road, Bonecrusher transformed while still moving and skated towards the Autobots. Optimus Prime transformed and slid into position to block his path. Seeing the Autobot he really hated (and that's saying a lot), Bonecrusher smashed through a bus (it irked him), and tackled Optimus Prime, pushing him off an overpass tumbling and falling off the edge, dragging the Autobot leader down with him.

When they hit the pavement (narrowly avoiding a soccer mom and her son, which Bonecrusher hated slightly less than Optimus), the enraged Decepticon balled a fist and extendo-punched Optimus in the face. Prime then returned the gesture, the impact of fist to face knocking out Bonecrusher's left optic (he liked that eye... well, no, he didn't, he just hated not having it more) and the left half of his face (that was his good side...the one he hated less, anyway), and the two played a little cat-and-mouse along the overpasses. After Prime jumped down to ground level, Bonecrusher repeatedly struck at the Autobot with his claw arm, all the while screaming incoherently. This gave Optimus the opportunity he needed to get his sword ready...which the Autobot used to sever Bonecrusher's right arm, before grabbing the hateful 'con under his arm and ramming the blade through the Decepticon's neck, decapitating him. Optimus then shoved the body back, wrenching the head from it's neck in the process, and discarded it on the ground; he hated that too.

Bonecrusher hates his movie role (and Michael Bay too).

The name's doomed to be nothing but bulldozers or buffaloes. And he hates that.

Bonecrusher transforms into a Buffalo mine-protected vehicle, with an articulated "mine-fork" for removing mines or cars or robots or unsuspecting buildings from his path. He has six rolling wheels in this mode, and two sculpted, non-functional spare wheels.
In robot mode he has elements resembling both his 2005 design and the final design used in the movie, though a major deviation to both designs is that the entire front shell halves of the vehicle mode are mounted upon his arms. His arms have limited articulation due to this kibble, but can extend out into really long arms. His legs fare better, with ball jointed hips, swivel knees and ankles, but his hips can often detach from the codpiece holding them together. The mine-fork splits to form a grabber-claw, which can snap onto victims with a geared slider Automorph mechanism.
He is surprisingly okay with these little tools of death, despite his mine fork having four spikes fewer than was depicted in the film.
He is named 'Bonescrusher' on the Canadian Cross-Sell.

Trivia

PhotoshopedBuffalo

*Giant fork and Decepticon insignia not included with the real Buffalo. Bonecrusher hates that.

  • The real Buffalo mine-sweeping vehicle hasn't in fact, such a huge fork. It is only 14 inches (35 cm) wide. The image that inspired Bonecrusher's design was actually a Photoshopped image put on the official Force Protection company's site to make it look more impressive[1]. A 10-foot-wide (3 m) appliance had to be fixed on Bonecrusher's arm for the movie. He hated that.[2]
  • Force Protection really, really loves Bonecrusher and that he has picked their Buffalo as its alt mode and is quite proud of it.[3] Bonecrusher is not sure what to think about that.
  • Bonecrusher has the least time onscreen of any character in the film, and arguably the most brutal demise as well. I'm pretty sure he hates that too.
  • It's a matter of debate whether or not Bonecrusher actually said anything intelligible in English during his brief appearance in the finished film, or whether he is talking in Cybertronian. Just before bisecting the bus, he shouts "Move!" or something similar. At various points in his fight with Optimus Pime, he does emit three less-garbled-than-the-rest-of-his-roaring noises that might be "OP-ti-MASSS!" (just after transforming), "Take that, Prime!" (just before the kid says "Cool, mom!") and the ever-appropos "Oh, I hate you!" as he lunges at Prime just before getting his head taken off. At the same time, though, they might just be coincidentally soundalike roars that viewers are attributing words too. We'd tell you to go and decide for yourself, but Bonecrusher would probably hate that.
