- Boltflash is a redeco of Classics Thunderwing, transforming into an F-14 Tomcat fighter jet.
- He was only available as part of a K-Mart exclusive Mini-Con 12-pack with Backstop, Blight, Bodyblock, Brimstone, Cloudraker, Flatfoot, Heavytread, Knockdown, Makeshift, Skyhammer, and Suppressor.
- This mold was also used to make Cybertron Nightscream and Noise Effect.
