Blueshift is a Velocitronian scientist loyal to Override and known for his interest in solving problems. Among his ideas were modifying a Velocitronian to fly like an Aerialbot, or converting the planet into a massive vehicle to enable its inhabitants to escape the destruction of their sun. Override turned to him for advice regarding the civil war with her rival Ransack, the threat of the Decepticons, and the threat of the supernova. He responded that "elements of the solution" included getting everyone off Velocitron, hoping that the Autobots' quest would prove successful, and possibly eliminating Ransack.
