Beast Wars Metals was a Japan-only comic (manga) published simultaneously with the Japanese release of the second and third seasons of the Beast Wars TV series. It is noted ("scorned" is not too strong a word) for its radical redesign of many of the characters. It follows the Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo manga series, allowing for some inevitable continuity flaws.
