One of the smallest known TransTechs, Beam Rider assists the TransTech security force in the enforcement of Offworlder Airspace regulations. Equipped with the ability to surf up laser beams, Beam Rider is the perfect interceptor for lowtechs who violate the rules of flight in Axiom Nexus. His magno locks can hold him tightly to their hull and double as a restraining bolt, and firing a second laser beam back to the ground lets Beam Rider force his quarry to ride with him. The little guy seems friendly at first, and he enjoys his job, but he also has a...morally ambiguous opinion on letting lowtechs just continue flying into the orbital defense grid, reducing them to atoms. Beam Rider encountered the GoBot Path Finder when she attempted to leave Cybertronian airspace for the vacuum beyond. His tracking beam quickly enabled him to catch up with her, despite her evasive maneuvers. Once the restraining bolt was on, Beam Rider just had to reel her in with a second laser beam shot back to the surface. He turned her over to Skyquake for the official reprimand. Withered Hope
