Attack on the Shuttle

Perhaps the most famous death sequence in Transformers lore wait, scratch that thought would be the attack on the shuttle in the movie. The lead in to the Battle for Autobot city, Autobots Brawn, Prowl, Ratchet, and Ironhide were killed by the Decepticons.

In 2005, [[Optimus Prime (G1)|Prime ordered Ironhide to go to Earth and get the last of the energon needed to retake Cybertron. After Megatron leaned of this plan, he led many, Decepticons, to, destroy the City. Intercepting the shuttle, Megatron was responcible for first the death of Brawn. Prowl would have taken down Starcream if Scavenger killed him. Ironhide survived the initial barage of gun fire from the Decepticons that killed fellow Autobots, but soon had his head removed by a blast from megatron's Fusion Cannon.
