Als ein Outlier und unter dem Namen Damus oder auch Glitch bekannt wandte er sich den Zielen der Decepticons zu und wurde zum Anführer der Decepticon Justice Division und war seitdem als Tarn bekannt. Er ist der Erfinder der Empyrean Suite und bewundert Megatron und dessen Autobiographie.
